VibeVote legal
Competition Rules
Version 2026-09-14
Effective Date: 14 September 2026
Last Updated: 14 September 2026
1. Scope
These general rules apply to VibeVote award programs and their county, regional and national stages. Each competition may publish separate dates, categories, prices, bonus rules, qualification rules and geographic scope. The details shown for that competition and at checkout form part of its rules.
2. Voting and stage isolation
- Only votes attached to an active, eligible competition entry and successfully confirmed by the payment provider count.
- County, regional and national competitions maintain separate tallies. Votes do not carry forward when a nominee progresses to a later stage.
- Promotional bonus votes count only in the order’s identified scope and have no cash value.
- Repeat paid orders are valid unless a clearly displayed category or competition limit applies.
3. Results and qualification
Live and public results are provisional until reconciliation and closure. Qualification counts may differ by competition and category. A recorded progression decision links the source result to the destination competition; advancement is not guaranteed until confirmed.
4. Integrity controls
We may use rate limits, device and network signals, payment reconciliation, audit logs and manual review to detect abuse. Duplicate callbacks and the same payment request are processed idempotently. We may reject unconfirmed or fraudulent activity, correct documented tabulation errors, pause voting, or disqualify a nominee for material rule violations after a proportionate review.
5. Interruptions and corrections
For a material outage, payment mismatch or data-integrity incident, we may pause a competition, extend a deadline, reconcile affected orders, republish corrected provisional results, or provide a legally required remedy. Decisions and material corrections should be auditable.
6. Challenges
Submit a challenge through Support promptly with the competition, nominee and transaction evidence. We may verify identity and payment ownership. These rules operate with the Terms and Conditions; mandatory Kenyan consumer rights remain unaffected.
